Show sneak peak, Cowboy portrait

For the last month I’ve been painting like crazy getting ready for my “featured artist” show. Last weekend I took a break to do a commissioned cowboy pencil portrait, which was just delightful! Check it out.

And then this week I was back to painting like crazy, and then framing like crazy. I’ve got 25 paintings wired and either framed or with freshly painted sides, and two more that need wire… Setup is tomorrow and I’ll get to see how many will show…

I’ll have a number of smaller pieces and studies, which I have not painted in some time – so if you’re interested in seeing a sneak peak and getting a first opportunity to purchase, just click here and I’ll send you info about the work before the opening reception next Friday.

One of my favorite pieces is only 5 inches square:

And Family Time is just finished (40″x40″, acrylic):

Which I think will show nicely with the newly framed up Conversation (24″x30″, acrylic):

And there will even be a few abstract pieces. 🙂

Thanks so much for your interest! I hope you have a great week.
