Weds, Feb 18th, 2pm (nap time). Painting grapes again. Working on using thinner paint as a wash. Colors came out better but not quite enough contrast and color yet. 6×8, acrylic on bristol.
Tues, Feb 17th, 3pm, painted grape cluster. Bogged down in tetails nad not seeing the colors right. Did not like the purple wash I laid down, either. Suprised by the color I see in the grapes. 6×8, acrylic on canvas board.
Tues, Feb 17th, 6am, painted 2 oranges. I liked these a lot more – had fewer strokes and fewer re-does and more lightnes. 6×8, acrylic on canvas board.
Started again with a painting a day on Monday, Feb 16th, 2009, 4am. Painted 3 oranges. Working on good colors, light, and minimum of strokes. repainted oranges 3 times. 8×10, acrylic on casvas board.
