Father and Son. 6×8, oil. Not Available. Looking across the river. I’m getting a little more confident with my landscapes. These mountains are similar to the purple mountains in this painting.
Lost In the Country / 6×8 in / oil on canvas This was a beautiful valley and mountain about 10 miles from my house. I stopped on the side of the road and painted from the car. Oil on canvas board, 6×8. March 1st. Farm paintings, in the LANDSCAPE GALLERY (#aaa1)
I had too many interruptions and was only able to paint for about 20 minutes (which was painfully frustrating!). However, I did get things blocked in quite will in that short amount of time, so although I may scrub the canvas I got something out of the time.
Oil on canvas, 8×6. / email to purchase Best glass I’ve ever done. I’m happy with the daisies as well. I am already seeing the benefits of painting daily, and it feels really good. Feb 27.
Lemons in Light / 6×8 / oil on canvas on board / email to purchase I’ve been working really hard on “getting” translucency, and this one felt good. These came out really well. The shadow is good and I captured the translucency well.
Painted from living room; the colors were too washed out and not quite right. Scrubbed.
Tues, orange halves. Oil on canvas board, 6×8. Feb 24.
Mon, whole orange, orange pieces and a glass. too much, not enough time. came out well, though. Oil on canvas board, 6×8. Feb 23, 2009.
Sun Feb 22. 3 daisies in glass. 1.5 hours.
Sat, Feb 21. Daisy in jar. took 3 hours. I’m working on painting the thing without all the details.
