Trees Above

This is named for the fact that those lighter treetops were the last thing to happen in this painting, and brought it together visually.

This horse painting is based on the horses right down the road, which I have painting many times and find more charming every time I see them. I hope this painting reminds you of sweet interactions you have had of the equine variety.

The marks are made with a wide paintbrush and a big pallet knife, and there is some great texture and depth.

All of my paintings are created using professional grade materials, including artist grade oil paints and canvas, linen, or panel. This painting is an original one of a kind oil painting on canvas.
