This is a farmhouse in the Brookings, SD area. I love this sort of scene, with the wild South Dakota trees and round hay bales and lovely yellow / cream house.
This painting is based on source photos I took. I started this painting in a workshop I took in 2021 with the wonderful impressionist daily painter Qiang Huang, and finished it later.
