Careful Notes

Here is my latest essential workers painting, still wet on the easel. It’s called Careful Notes and is of a couple customers ordering hamburgers at Nicks – our mom and pop hamburger place. I really like the three figures, and am I’m planning to paint this again much larger.

I’ve been trying to capture the experience of pandemic life around there, which looks a lot like this… or sometimes the opposite.
